Dominic Hills was born in 1975. He studied Fine Art at John Moore’s University in Liverpool, and in 2001 attended the Trivandum School of South Indian Mural Painting. Influenced by everything from Post Impressionism to Pop Art, Classicism to Japonism. His ethos is to disclude nothing in his work; he maintains that in art everything matters and nothing should be considered too crass, too commonplace or too passé.
Dominic's paintings play with patterns and light whilst figures bask in his glorious pallete, a rich range of colour filling each canvas. Dominic shows exclusively with Edgar Modern. He exhibits with us at international art fairs and has had three sell out solo shows in the gallery. Dominic has been hailed as someone to watch.
