From Land_s End to John O_Groats
A celebration of inspiring British landscapes in the artist colonies of Cornwall and Scotland.

Visit the gallery for the Open Viewing on 9 January, 1-5pm.

Edgar Modern is proud to celebrate the geography that has inspired hundreds of artists over the years.  These two disparate tracts of land, so different is so many ways, have a well-rooted tradition of calling forth the creativity in some of the UK's most well-known artists.  Any visitor to these coasts can easily see why the wild and untamed mountains or Scotland and the solitary cliffs and beaches of Cornwall have acted as such a muse, and have called to artists over the years.

EM is pleased to present works from Judy Buxton, Jeremy Annear, Ronald F Smith RSW, David Martin RSW, Mhairi McGregor, Jessica Cooper RWA, Henrietta Dubrey, and Heath Hearn - all of whom have drawn from the inspirational nature of these lands.  These artists each represent entirely different approaches to the subject, and each captures the spirit of the land in their paint.
